Sonic 2018 IDW #1 Review

After we are told that eggman dissapeared after being defeated so much, we get to see this. Apparently, this takes place after Sonic Forces in some form due to the weapon with an original character, which is really cool. Adding more original characters makes it seem like the planet isn’t just inhabited by the main characters and everyone else has a life they’re trying to live too.

There he is. So, apparently, they haven’t seen Sonic but they’ve heard of him as if he’s a popular hero. Reminds me of moments in Mario games when new characters are in awe to find out that Mario is THE Mario.

I can tell that I’m gonna love the comedy in this series. Also, damn that thing must be fast to keep up with Sonic and be able to swing its hammer to almost hit him.

It’s Miles! Saving Sonic, already looking promising.

This! This is what the video game series need. Sonic and Tails both fighting along side each other like this! Tails is actually fighting and it’s amazing.

Look at theeeem, using their brain. This is great, this is talented, this is amazing. I love them.

Did Sonic just do a split? His blue gumball ass is extra and I live for it. But anyway, it seems like they’re hypothesizing that Eggman or maybe someone else because their attacks are more organized and I’m really interested to see where they go with this plot in the future.

Miles being so worried about Sonic is really great and Sonic telling him that Miles can come with him is really nice of him. But the fact that Miles looks at the partly destroyed city and people that are in distress, he puts aside his worries and maybe selfish intentions to be with Sonic so he can do the right thing and help out the people of the town. It hasn’t even been long and we already got character development and I’m living for it.

This is getting spicy. I wonder who’s making the orders. Of course there is the Eggman symbol right there but it couldn’t be that obvious would it. Also, he wants to crush both hedgehogs and there’s a picture of Amy. Ooo that means Amy plays a higher roll in this if they don’t wanna go against Shadow or Silver as the hedgehog. Really excited to see where this goes.

I’ll be doing these for all the issues of the series. I can also do it to other series too if people would like me to. Even series that I don’t know much about like Marvel and such, these are fun to go into and talk about blindly.
