A random thought I'm thinking. What if the writing team for Sonic 3 went through AO3 and saw there wasn't enough angst fanfic for Stobotnik and went "Kay, we need to make these authors so distraught, saddened and heart broken that they'll NEED to write fix-it fics and post movie fics about what happens to Stone cause we sure ain't gonna tell them what happens to him."

SONIC 3 SPOILERS/STOBOTNIK EDIT WITH SCENES

CONTAINS FOOTAGE OF ENDING SCENES

Yes, yes I know. Filming during a movie is bad and disrespectful, but my heart was racing and I just KNEW I needed to capture the final moments of the movie with my reaction (as in tears, sobbing and cursing)

And thank goodness I did cause I was able to make this little edit with the Helluva Boss song "Mastermind".

Yeah, I was writing and the song started to play from my playlist and as soon as I heard

"You're my light. You're my heart."

I pictured the scenes used in the edit and went "Yep. This is their song and I'll spend nearly an hour working on a shitty edit, immediately"

THE SONG FITS! COME ON!!

Yes, some of the cuts are bad and out of beat (ah yes, the benefits of editing on a phone). And the scenes I did want to use were like half cut off or too shaky (cause I was sobbing and my mate was patting my back during this whole thing)

So consider this the draft till the digital copy comes out and I can make a clearer version

A new Stobotnik-ish fic coming soooon

There will be mentions/talk of Sonic 3. So Spoilers!!!

So some weeks ago I was watching a Youtube video (I can't remember which video, but is was defiantly sonic 3 related) and I was scrolling through the comments and saw this comment 👇

Which then sparked an idea of my of possibly (maybe, hopefully, wishful thinking) Sage could/should be in Sonic 4. But instead of Sage being a biological daughter (cause as stated by the bald sad man himself "...and something about my attitude renders me undesirable to all possible genders." cough, cough Not all cough.) Anyway, we keep Sage as a A.I being (in the form of a teen) who helps Stone in developing Metal Sonic and taking over the world in vengeance for her father (kinda sounds like Sonic 3 but this will have it's unique stuff)

Is it a long shot? Maybe/likely. Will it stop me? No.

So I concocted a fanfic story of the aftermath of Sonic 3 and a prequill (eh...eh...reference placing) to Sonic 4. Where Robotnik IS...💀 and featuring how Stone becomes the next big bad for Sonic and the crew (with Amy joining) along side Sage, the A.I daughter Robotnik created before Stone entered the picture. And building/creating Metal Sonic to test against Sonic.

Hence why the title of this says Stobotnik-ish, because Robotnik is dead (well, presumed dead ¯\(°_o)/¯, depends if Jim wants to come back or not. I'm okay with either and can work either way.) And the Stobotnik content is in flash backs and Stone talking to Sage about his feelings for her later creator/father.

So basically this fic is a domestic/family fic featuring Stone trying to live and work alongside the A.I daughter of his former boss/lover interest in controlling the word in the name of Robotnik.

So...what do we think?

I don't think I'll ever be going to London. Not after what happened there.
