I love how Starline, whether on purpose or accident, fundamentally failed to replicate Sonic and Tails relationship eith Surge and Kit. Starline seemed to view Tails as important to "replicating sonic" but not how he was important. He thought of him as a side kick, minion; assistant. But Tails is a brother.

See the thing about brother's is they have free will. He made Kit loyal above all else. But Starline's idea of loyalty is blind obedience. He valued and undervalued Tails. Kit is a very superficial recreation of Tails.

Surge similarly is only vaguely like Sonic. She's clearly based on someone who doesnt know Sonic; assumptions of what hes like.

Sure she's cocky, violent and perhaps a bit of a adrenaline junky. But her motives are so different to Sonic's they hardly resemble each other past the surface.
