I've found it rare to find femme fatale type readers in fics especially those paired with hoseok so I was pleasantly surprised with sonic rain! Loved the tension and chemistry between the two, keep up the great writing!!

i’m glad you liked them together! i really enjoyed portraying their relationship, and sonic rain’s oc is one of my fav that i’ve written. though i wouldn’t really consider her a femme fatale. she doesn’t really lead him down a bad path or anything lol. she’s just very confident

It's seriously SUCH an underrated fic, why doesn't anyone ever talk about it? And aren't you happy with it too? (I'm not pressing anyone lol. Just asking haha) But I would say that MY favorite among your personal favorites would have to be Sonic Rain. I LOVE the way you consistently used rain like metaphors, especially that one bit when Hoseok watches the OC dancing.

But the last line THAT’S THE REAL MASTERPIECE: “That he might take a few missteps in these confusing woods of lust and emotion, because you were a girl shrouded in fog, but he only hoped that he could eventually help lead you out of the mist.” Where did you get the name “Sonic Rain”? Like I get rain, but why Sonic? These fics really show your growth as a writer, comparing your previous with present works! You write really well, please don’t get discouraged! :)

aww thank you so much for this message! i really do love sonic rain a lot bc it’s some of my favorite characterization that i’ve written. also i’m glad that you like that line! it actually is going to have to do with the title of the sequel. and as for the actual title of sonic rain comes from the various times when hoseok is around water (when he’s standing at the window, in the shower, ect) he often talks about the sound / lack of sound that the water is making, so i just decided to make it the title bc i liked it lol

tdcu was amazing and it was a hell of an emotional roller coaster. as always your fics put me out of my mind but bring me back with the touch of humor. i am glad that it was so lengthy because the devil is definitely in the details. this is for sure one of my favorite pieces that you’ve written, right behind sonic rain and future hearts of course.

💡 What was the motivation behind the story?

i actually got a request for dance major hoseok, so that was the base motivation. and then when i was planning the actual plot i just decided that i wanted to do something like step up 2 the rain scene + the camp rock moment of ‘that’s the song’ but instead it’s ‘that’s the dance’ lmao

🎢 Were there any scenes you were nervous about? For audience reception or otherwise?

for sonic rain i don’t think there were any scenes that i found all that nerve-wracking. like maybe i was worried about how i would be able to portray the dancing scenes, bc it’s something that can be hard to describe properly. and a lot of the emotions that hoseok feels throughout the fic come from him watching the oc dance, so i was just hoping that i would be able to convey it properly, bc if i couldn’t do that then i felt that their relationship might fall a little flat for people reading ;;

just read sonic rain and it was so good & unique! the rain metaphor throughout was awesome writing technique and i loved the fact that it was through hobi's eyes rather than the reader. it's often rare to have the member be entranced by the reader's skills rather than the other way around. much love! <3

aww thank you so much this was so sweet!!!! also i’m really glad that you enjoyed the fact that it was written from hoseok’s pov! honestly i prefer writing from the member’s perspective for some reason. any time i’ve ever done that in a fic the words come way more easily. i think it’s due to the fact that when you aren’t writing from the oc’s view in a reader insert it’s essentially written from third person which is personally my favorite style of writing. idk how people feel about writing from the pov of the member vs the oc, but a lot of my upcoming fics are from the member’s view, so hopefully it was a change that people enjoyed lol
