SATURDAY MARCH 30-- Join us for an #interactive #sonicexperience where #play and #production come together as one. Largely highlighting the work and curatorial skills of co-producer Jared Eakin, #Frequency is an #immersiveevent that blurs the line between viewer and performer. Performers include YOU, Jared Eakin, Elovet, Stephanie Sprague, DJ Spheric, Theo Harper, AJ Strout, Kaye Jacobs, Tyler VanRed, Bryjan, Jenna Pitman, Daniel Watkins, Stan Theman, and more TBA. Our artist's #performances rely on your contributions to take place. Participating viewers are asked to bring an object of their choosing to produce sound with. The produced sound will be #recorded, integrated into the artist's work, and then played back to viewers in a live performance format. Other works include #collaborative sonic #compositions that behave like a #puzzle which viewers are asked to solve. The #spontaneous result of this #playful framework is an aural performance situated somewhere between noise and music. Libations and snacks provided free of charge. The night will conclude with a dance hour spun by the generous DJ Spheric. Entrance is between $1 and $10, depending on ability to pay. Proceeds go directly to participating artists. Tips are greatly appreciated!! A large portion of this recurring event's #performers and patrons have come to build relationships with one another, further growing our network and facilitating progressive creative opportunities that last beyond our gatherings.
