watching the voting for the game awards is fucking NUTS

we've got

someone admitting publicly that they bought bots to vote for genshin impact, like legitimately said he bought and has 6 people running bot things on his twitter. didn't even try to hide it.

genshin impact being included in this running AT ALL, since it came out in 2020 and not 2022. i'm still confused by that.

sonic fans and genshin fans at each others' throats, posting numbers on reddit and twitter trending numbers to try and one up each other

sonic frontiers fans making tons of art and tweets about #Sonicsweep even before anyone has won

god of war getting basically buried underneath all of this insanity

stray is also there watching this go down

if sonic fans are also cheating they are at least not posting about it on their twitter accounts publicly, seriously holy crap dude

These are the current results for the game awards Players Voice award. As it stands right now, the five games that will advance to the last round are Sonic Frontiers, Genshin Impact, Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarok, and Stray

And most surprisingly, the war for first place isn’t between Elden Ring and GOW, but instead Genshin and Frontiers

And to this I say...

VOTE SONIC FRONTIERS FOR PLAYER’S VOICE ROUND 3!!

Look, I like Genshin as much as the next person, but my god, Sonic NEEDS this! It got snubbed from multiple award nominations (lookin’ at YOU, best soundtrack) and the franchise hasn’t really been in a good placement online for a while

So for the sake of the pointy blue rodent, let’s make the #SONICSWEEP HAPPEN!
