For the first time my character has actually opted to have a family in Skyrim. She's married Marcurio, adopted Sofia and Lucia, hired Illia as a steward, Engar as a carriage driver and Sonir as a bard and has chickens and a horse. This is all very new and cute to me. 

It's going to inspire some ridiculously fluffy fic isn't it?

Where Marcurio and Illia argue about whether fireballs or frost spike are a better first spell to teach the girls. Where my archer wood elf banters with Engar about whether Riften is more trouble than Windhelm. Where Sonir gets uncontrollably attached to the chickens and gets sad when Marcurio insists their necks are wrung to make dinner. Where a courier occasionally mysteriously appears in the middle of the night and Mama and Papa head off to adventures unknown, leaving the children with Illia but always come back laden with gold and interesting shields for them to decorate their room with.

Yeah. This must stop.
