After a long week of medical appointments and work, reading with Nessie was exactly what I needed. I’m currently reading Loveless by Alice Oseman and absolutely loving it! I can’t wait to see where this story goes, though I bet I’ll be a bit sad when it’s over. What are you all reading? Anything you want to recommend?
Some Political philosophy notes with the left side being the ones taken in class and the right side being the rewritten notes.
I managed to finish another chapter of econ yesterday and hope to finish at least 5 philosophers before calling it a day.
I can only hope I'm able to finish the syllabus before the exam *fingers crossed*
I know we’re not that far into 2023 but this might already be one of my favorite books for the year! Legends & Lattes was the heartwarming read I didn’t know I needed and, even though I finished it about a week ago now, I still think about it all the time. And to find out there’s a prequel for it coming out this year? You guys better bet I’m going to get my hands on it ASAP.

I moved into my new home last weekend and have been so busy unpacking and settling in that I haven’t had any time to sit down and read until now. And not only am I in a new home, but I also have another reading buddy now! Meet Nessie, named after the Loch Ness Monster, and just as charming and energetic as Moth (though at least less inclined to bite my books).
Even though I’m moving soon and told myself I’d read the books I already own before buying more, here I am, with a small book haul from Barnes and Noble. Fingers crossed that my book-buying ban can now stay in place until my books are unpacked in my new place! I certainly don’t need to make this move any more difficult by adding more and more things to pack.
As I start to pack up to move to a new place, I’ve come to realize just how much I love my bookcase setup here. Everything from my ever-expanding personal library to the little knickknacks sprinkled in (like this little frog!) brings me so much pride and joy. I can’t wait to see what my library will look like in the next place! (Though I must admit that it pains me to ruin this display by packing it all up.)
I’m heading into this weekend desperately hoping for more of these cozy reading times! I’m no fan of winter storms like we’re having right now, but I’m really looking forward to staying in and curling up with a blanket, my current read, and Moth this weekend.
I may have finished The Hobbit yesterday, but that won’t stop me from continuing to enjoy it’s story. Next up is Dan Simmons’ Hyperion, and I can’t wait til I can pick it up from my library!
