Hi all, Here's my album of the year list. First time on IG! 1. Norman Fucking Rockwell! ; Lana Del Rey A timeless album. Hardly any misses. That opening sentence says it all. This music etched it's way through my soul these last months. I approached it like any other album but soon found myself addicted to it, haunted and/or cursed by it, I dreamed about it, sweated it out, while never being able to turn it off. Not a lot of albums have been able to do that. Strong stuff, be warned! 2. Faire de Son Mieux; Son Mieux I was looking forward to this debut album. And it was totally worth the wait. Super strong and cohesive album. Arcade Fire, eat our heart out! Also very entertaining live act. Hopefully they'll be booked for Lowlands Festival next year (finally...). 3. Kiwanuka; Michael Kiwanuka Beautiful soulful album defying the laws age and time just like the nr 1 of this list. Songs like Piano Joint and Final Days will stay with me for a long time to come. 4. In Cauda Venenum; Opeth Adventurous and daunting. Heavy and fulfilling. Very satisfying release of one of my favourite bands of the moment. 5. All This Will Be Yours; Bruce Soord This personal collection of songs from The Pineapple Thiefs' front man works so well. 6. Feral Roots; Rival Sons I was just blown away by the title track, so this album was already sure of it's place in this list in January of 2019. 7. Love You To Bits; No Man 8. i, i ; Bon Iver 9. Boat ; Pip Blom Highly anticipated debut form this excellent Amsterdam guitar band. Very curious how this band will evolve over the next few years. 10. Faith & Superstition ; TEF I'm still super proud of my latest album. Best songs: 1. Cinnamon Girl - Lana del Rey 2. Feral Roots; Rival Sons 3. Nothing; Son Mieux 4. Hey, Ma; Bon Iver 5. Evolution; TEF Link in bio to playlist! #aoty #bestalbum #lanadelrey #sonmieux #michaelkiwanuka #opeth #tefmusic #rivalsons #musicianslife #diymusician #musicislove #soulsearching https://www.instagram.com/p/B6u2b8dFmeA/?igshid=gsbovd4cu3uw
