It was a nice night for a walk.

The air was crisp and cold, not quit submitting to spring yet despite it nearly being summer. He could see his breath, clouds of white hovering around his head like a halo. There was a certain peace in the air, the kind you could only get at night.

He genuinely hadn't been expecting to see anyone about and, eye wandering as it was, it was no surprise that he managed to bump into literally the only other person on the street.
