One pet peeve Valerie has is wet socks. As in, she hates it when her socks get wet. The fabric just...clinging to her feet and making squishing sounds every time she walks, is a very uncomfortable and aggravating experience.

Another pet peeve Valerie has is off-tune and/or off-key singing. The worse it is, the more it grates on her nerves (and ears). She’s normally too polite to say it, but whenever she hears someone singing poorly, on the inside she just wants to tell said someone to be quiet.

A lot of good friends came with feathers. 

Or at least, he’d like to think this little Pidgey was something of a good friend by now. He shared at least four fries over the last week, and it trilled and coo’d when he noticed him. Considering how people normally treated him, this was a sign of friendship. 

So when the little bird was making strange hops away, flying a tad before looking back, Shige got the sense that it wanted him to follow. He whistled back as he walked, letting the bird know he was following along so he could fly along farther and farther until it reached a peculiar looking building. It was the opposite of secured- large windows open and full of birdsong. 

He climbed up a tree near the opening the Pidgey flew into, testing his weight on the edge of the window to squat on to look within.

“Hot damn........” That was a lot of birds. A regular smorgasbord---oh. Oh that one down there wasn’t a bird. That was a guy. And he said that out loud, didn’t he?

“So, uh, I promise I’m not breaking in--” he called down, gesturing at his ‘friend’ with his free hand, “he invited me over.”

Four Headcanons Meme

Archer tends to be the pinnacle of the “friendly neighbor” while he’s living in Violet City. He visits Falkner on a semi-regular basis, usually under the guise of the “bumbling foreigner.” Most of the time it’s to test his boundaries and see just how far he can win Falkner over on a personal level.

It takes several months before his violent tendencies make any waves in Violet and it starts with the disappearance of one of Archer’s nosy obnoxious neighbors. He’s visibly distraught by the incident and suspicion seems to roll off his back like so much water, but Falkner can’t shake the feeling he knows more than he’s willing to let on.

When Team Rocket makes its presence known in Azalea Town and largely passes over Violet City, it’s because Archer has a fondness for his residence. That doesn’t stop other less savory incidents from happening from time to time, however.

By and large, the civilians of Johto never really piece together where Archer’s real affiliations lie which is what they deserve for letting children fight their battles for them but after Kotone gets involved, Falkner discovers the horrifying truth. Soon after, Archer is forced to relocate.

Less Than Human:

Falkner is Archer’s first successful attempt at fusing Pokemon DNA with a human’s. He’s very coveted and ‘cherished’ as a result.

In order to facilitate the fusion, Falkner was injected with Skarmory DNA as a developing fetus in an artificial womb. His pituitary gland was carefully manipulated to force Falkner to grow at a rapid rate until he was, effectively, adult in size.

Although he is technically “young” by human standards, by avian standards, it balances out to some degree. He is still very sheltered as his education has been carefully selected and overseen by Archer and Rocket.

At this juncture, with the exception of teaching and ‘raising’ Falkner to discover more about the range of differences and similarities between the hybrid and its separate parts, Archer hasn’t yet decided what “the point” of his experimentation is or what he plans to do with Falkner when he’s satisfied.

“Do not fear, I promise I will not hurt you, winged one.” He speaks calmly, as he makes sure to keep his distance, after all... He was soaked in blood. The blood of various Rocket Grunts, and Scientists. He had slaughtered them. He had slaughtered each and every one of them. When he had uncovered the location of their base, he didn’t know what kind of things he would run into, but he could safely say that he never predicted that he would run into such a strange, but wonderful lifeform. “You look positively famished. Please, take this.” He carefully reaches into the inner breast pocket of the blood covered black suit jacket he sported, and pulled out a paper bag, with a sweet smell.

He takes a few steps closer, not too close, mind you, just close enough that he could set the bag down on the ground, before he steps away again, putting a fair amount of distance between him and the crinkled paper bag. “Go on. They’re yours, so eat as many as you like, alright?” He offers him a warm smile, and closes his eyes, trying to convey that he meant no ill intent towards the other. 

“I will not hurt you, nor will the food inside the bag. They’re berries. Berries and a malasada. You are hungry, aren’t you? Take the whole bag if you want. It’s like I said they belong to you now.” Besides... It wasn’t like he had any shortage of food with all those dead Rockets strewn throughout the base!

Seto almost laughed, but settled on shaking his head instead. Hiroto seemed serious about this that he felt he might offend him had he laughed (though it never stopped him in the past). “Do you think I’d have sought this place out if I had the time to rest? Believe me when I say it, there has been no rest before, and there will be no rest after. I am a very busy man, and laying here is luxury.         Though I am not saying this to guilt you into staying with me,” he added. It may sound so, but he knows that he had no hold over the courtesan... whether he liked it or not. “It is just how it is. I’d rather not look for another after you, it would take too much of my time.”
