"Stop running! I order you to stop running!" Orders. Did anyone even listen to orders, anymore? Probably, but not the people she's met. Her friends were usually rebels, going against the wishes of elders, ruining things... everything but following orders. 

The guards were slowing down, thank god. It was safe to look back - that is, until they noticed that she had stopped running. Breathing heavily, the girl walked slowly, running a hand along her dress. Leaves crunched underneath her feet: a soothing sound for someone who had heard it every day of her life. She stopped, however, when she heard a sound. The sound of another presence. 

Smirking, she unsheathed her sword, and turned around, holding it out. "I can hear you, so there's no point in hiding. Just be warned, I have a weapon."
