Emma felt instant regret and pain upon saying those words to him. When the two fought Tamara before the arrival of a magic bean that took Neal away from her, all of the feelings she had about Neal came rushing back. Neal had betrayed her trust when they were teenagers, and yet she never stopped loving him. When the two finally confessed their feelings, only for Neal to be taken from her, Emma didn’t want to grow close to another soul. She was never good at saying goodbye.

When the cage around Neal disappeared, Emma walked out with her parents and Hook, but she lingered behind with Neal for just a moment. Tears continued to fill her eyes before she quietly wiped them away. “Neal, back what I said in there… I’m glad you’re okay. I really am. But after what was said in Storybrooke to each other, only to lose you, well, I was scared. Hoping this was a trick seemed easier to process the loss. I wish I could change how I feel… but I can’t. I’m sorry.” Even if she could change how she felt, Henry and his well-being were the only pressing things on her mind now. They needed to save Henry and go home.

Emma laughed and shook her head before looking over her left shoulder at him. “I can handle the concrete for I know being uncomfortable will be well worth it. I can’t wait another moment to be with you.” She bit her lip and smiled, blushing as she felt her corset come undone. Her hands gripped the garment and she tossed it aside as she turned around to face him. Her eyes widened as she took in his physique and smiled before pulling him towards her to steal a kiss before stepping back. She took hold of his hand and lead him further inside the abandoned building they were in. She wasn’t nervous for him to see her without clothes and yet she took a deep breath as she removed the final article of clothing. She pulled her chemise up and over her head and threw it to the side before sprawling herself out to the ground below.  | cont. from here

Emma couldn’t help but laugh whenever the two were together. She really couldn’t remember the time she felt this happy and wanted to hold onto that feeling for as long as possible. After being abandoned by her parents, friends betraying her, and dealing with people in various foster homes, Emma found her home with the man in her arms. They had a plan now to plant roots in Tallahassee and whatever that meant for their relationship, Emma was ready to put her complete trust in him. 

She bit down on her lower lip and smiled. “You know how much I enjoy messaging with you but I don’t think I can make it last for long this time.” She cupped his cheek with her right hand and grinned, kissing him lightly before falling on her back and bringing him over her. “Now that I’ve had a taste of what this is like, what do you say we do round two while we still have time?”

We Meet Again {Closed}

Blonde ponytail waved in the wind, the sea air filling her nostrils as she dug her toes in the sand. She’d been in Tallahassee, Florida for three months - currently the longest time she’s spent anywhere. She had taken up a job as a bail bondsman. At least it gave her enough money to get a roof over he head and food to it. She was currently undercover, tracking her next target. A woman by the name of Brooke who was wanted for numerous tickets that were left unpaid. It wasn’t a glamorous life by any means, but it kept her busy.

Twenty-year-old Emma sat in a chair at the edge of the shore, surveying the land. This was the last place that Brooke was spotted. She glanced at the photo on her phone, and scanning her surrounds. Aha, there she is.

Emma got up from her resting place. She looked the part of a tourist, big floppy hat, sunglasses, shorts, a swimming tank, and a beach bag - though the beach bag had her gun hidden in it. It was a mandatory thing for her line of work. She followed the woman while weaving through the crowd of people, eyes never leaving her sight. While she was walking her bag got caught in some guys umbrella, nearly tripping her.

“Whoa! Sorry, I didn’t mean to--.” But, her voice stopped cold, heart thumping in her chest, body frozen as she looked into the eyes of the man she never thought she would see again. Neal.

Kara had to keep reminding herself that this was not a dream. She had never experienced happiness like this, and the idea of it being real didn't seem possible. When the family she lived with adopted her when she was younger, that day was a joyous occasion, but that emotion didn't last long. They didn't love her— they didn't care about her, so why did they keep her after all these years? Miss Danvers didn't ask such a question as she feared they would throw her out. However, if she had been thrown out, meeting Winn never would have happened. Their meeting was the best thing that had ever happened to her.

"I'll be happy to meet you there, Winn. You should probably go before someone barges in my room and catches us in a compromising position." A laugh escaped her lips at that idea, but she didn't care if someone did find them. "I'll meet you there. I promise."

“Yeah...” Emma forced a smile at that, nodding. “I’m glad I at least told him something honorable even though it was a lie. I hate that I lied to him but I thought I was protecting him. Maybe if you’re with me and if we tell him the truth together, he won’t be as angry with me.” She really did hope that he would want her in his life even after all this. Emma was finally getting used to the idea of being a mother and while full custody was in Regina’s power, Emma wasn’t afraid of being a mother to Henry. Lying to her son was not a good quality to add to her list. She knew he was right and perhaps not feeling guilty on her end was a mistake, but Emma couldn’t seem to stop confessing the things that were placed on her heart once she confessed her love. Emma was almost certain they didn’t have a second chance at romance again, but when he said that he would call off his engagement and that she was the person she wanted the blonde found herself feeling genuinely happy for the first time in a long time.  “I suppose I should take it back then.” Emma smiled and took the key chain back from him. The clasp she wore around her neck was now broken but she knew it wouldn’t take too long to fix. “I’m never letting this out of my sight again.” Emma knew he was still engaged but he said he would call things off with Tamara if they could have a second chance. She took that as an invitation to kiss him again. “Neal.” Emma smiled as she closed the gap between them, hands moving up his chest and then her arms wrapped around the nape of his neck. “I want a second chance.” And with that, the invitation she assumed was there was answered as she kissed him while a single tear fell down her cheek.

Jessica knew that she would be fired for being late to work once again, but she was relieved that her boss was in a good mood for once. What would she have to do if he did fire her for excessive tardiness? Being a single mother can only help protect me so much. And took her stressful day worse, Emma got into a car accident as she parked in front of her apartment building. 

This is the last thing I need. Jessica sighed as she checked on her daughter in her carrier. She seemed okay and that was all that mattered to her, but now she had to make sure the guy she hit was okay and that he wouldn't press charges. Because I can't afford that. 

Jessica got out of her car and grabbed her daughter before walking over to the man as he got out. "I am so so so sorry. I thought I had enough room."
