` one and another

[ ` he pulled up to the familiar home, somewhat far from his but just enough to get back to his own residence safely. he parked his large truck (that he truly didn’t even need) along the curb and took the keys from the ignition. upon dismounting the vehicle, he came across the cold night air. ]

[ ` he headed to the front door and walked up the steps and finally looked up, only to find that in the dark of night taehoon had been standing in the doorway the whole time and he didn’t even notice, upon that gem keenan tripped. chuckling to himself, he stared at the other with a grin but also in slight disbelief and embarrassment. ] hi to you too, jerk.

[ ` he smiled and shook the man’s hand ] she’s all yours, now. [ ` the other had complete glee struck in every which way possible. it was a difficult cleanup, but he took the project seriously. the whole garage worked on the ‘67 camaro for about three weeks now, it was in three pieces when they first got the junk and now it was a complete masterpiece. it took four days straight of painting, the classic look — a shimmering opal body with two red stripes lining it’s body line, what a beautiful car. he turned around after watching the owner and his beauty drive away, he was now left with waiting for the owner of his last project for the week: the 1970 Dodge Charger. ]

[ ` he was quite sure hoon said he’d be coming over today, so he figured he’d polish it up one last time before showing off the new color and the inverted interior. he only began to polish the hood when he heard a knock at his door. he turned and looked at the other’s reaction, giving him an immediate reaction of pride and conquer — as well as a cheeky smile. ] i was ‘alf-tempted to buy this one from you, you’re a lucky man.

( ; finishes cleaning the counter as his shift had just started, knowing he would be there till late that night—no matter if it was pretty empty and his other co-worker seemed to handle all of them pretty well ) – ( ; organizes the empty and clean glasses on their right place, then moving to have the drink bottles in an easier place to get to prepare the mixes ) – ( ; leans his back on the shelf carefully, not to let anything fall, and crosses his arms on his chest, just watching as the people who were already there when he arrived left ) – ( ; as new customers arrives, he goes on taking their orders and does it pretty quickly—he still could remember how much he failed on doing all that when he first arrived at the bar ) – ( ; as he finishes to give the orders to some of the guys that were there, oliver notices a guy on one of the corners of the counter ) – ( ; goes towards the male, giving out a grin as approached him ) Hello… May I take your order, sir? ( ; he says, always too respectful towards anyone that came inside there )

Keenan remained still. 

Maybe he was thinking more and more now that he was reaching his third decade in life, but his phone remained untouched and the briefcase he brought sat there, unopened. Memories of his last boat ride brought him back to Boston, he was what; twenty-two? Back when he was going to start a new life, to start it over where everyone would know his name. 

The silence shivered, leaving him cold as he stood in the middle of the unfamiliar room. 

He had a feeling that nobody on this boat would be much happier on ground, water, in air; everything remained to be a blur to him. How people craved the rumors, the creations of desolation and singularity — a though these people were but pretty objects. 

Is Taehoon coming or not?

He could really use a drink. And someone relatable to keep him sober, though by the sound of his cellphone's distress it may be the man standing alone in his room who would keep the other aligned. Keenan tilted his head slightly before taking a seat on the corner of his bed, he wondered quietly what kind of problems the other got into.

[ ` he had just heard the announcement that his flight had been further delayed, although most would assume that being late for whatever awaits at their destination would be the worst case scenario — keenan found his frustration in having to wait even longer to board what he thought was some three-hundred ton death machine that is supported by nothing but air ; it's easy for him to admit he's one that lacks confidence in those circumstances but after waiting for an hour already, he was borderline anxious ]

[ ` he couldn't stop moving, from rocking back and forth, shifting weight from one side to the other, or pacing around until he waited for another godly message — keenan was left feeling restless. he thought it'd be better to sit down, but he knew he wouldn't stay there for long. the weather had been strange all week, but of all days it had to commit to pouring rain before his first game of the season. annoyed, fidgety, and convinced that luck would never sit beside him let alone bless him — keenan leaned on a wall and watched passengers go by, wondering where they could possibly be going to seem so busy. too busy, to even stop and ask a small question. or perhaps he was asking for too much of a new york airline, chatswin was just as cold. he didn't expect anything after that thought. ]
