🌟 SonTails Week 2025! 🌟

SonTails Week runs from November 21st to November 27th.

This event has been ongoing every year since 2019, in celebration of the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (November 1992) for the Sega Genesis. It has been a labor of love and passion for the ship ever since.

Anyone is free to participate — simply post under the #SonTailsWeek hashtag and the #SonTails hashtag.

Event Guidelines

• Don’t spread or include hate speech. • No submissions that include NSFW or gore. • Plagiarism of other artists’ and writers’ work is not allowed. • AI is not allowed to be used for submissions except as a tool for translation into foreign languages.

SonTails Fluff and Spirit

This event is for fans, by fans. Even if you can only scribble something on paper or write a short fanfiction, everything is welcome. The most important thing is that you spread the spirit of SonTails and share with us the love for the ship.

So let’s celebrate our favorite duo and hopefully have content for each and every day this year! 💛💙

✨ This Year’s Themes

Day 1 – RESET A fresh start, a new world, a different Sonic and Tails. Writers: Explore an alternate timeline and how their lives begin again. Artists: Show how they would look in this new world.

Day 2 – TRAVEL Writers: Focus on the places they visit and the things they discover. Artists: Illustrate the first place they explore together.

Day 3 – MARRIAGE “What if they finally tied the knot?” Writers: Capture the nervousness and build-up before the big day. Artists: Bring their special moment to life.

Day 4 – RETIREMENT “Even heroes grow old.” Writers: Reflect on their memories and years spent together. Artists: Show them looking back on their journey.

Day 5 – INVERSION “The heroes become the threat.” Writers: A complete 180, Sonic and Tails are now the villains. Artists: Explore how their darker sides might look.

Day 6 – DIFFERENT HEROES “New masks, same bond.” Writers: Imagine them as heroes from another story or universe. Artists: Redesign them as iconic heroes from comics, movies, or games.

Day 7 – FREE DAY A day for artists and writers to create whatever they want, in any style or setting.

Axel Martin: Un día tarde pero este año está siendo bastante complicado para mí, tanto que le he confiado la labor de las redes sociales y promociones a Daniel Garcia para que me dé tiempo a acabar el resto de bocetos x.x Bueno, 30th anniversary de Sonic! DIA 3: HALLOWEEN! 23/11/2021, tercer día de la Sontailsweek: "Halloween". Me inspiré en una de mis portadas favoritas de los cómics de IDW. Me encanta el Werehog, y ver a Sonic disfrazado de él con una hoodie, siempre me pareció muy tierno. Tails deduzco que va de Dr. Jekil y Mr Hyde, y me parece un acierto, porque es un genio brillante, el cual podría descontrolarse. Siento la tardanza, pero mantendré mi promesa de acabar todos los dibujos, esta vez a color. No como quisiera, pero mejor que otros años sí. Espero que os guste. DIA 2: SONIC COLORS ULTIMATE! Admin Inari nos comparte esta preciosidad espacial Con vosotros, el segundo día del evento #Sontailsweek2021 Día dos (22/11) : Sonic Colors Ultimate. Los he querido hacer con los whisps de Rise of the whisps como tributo a la animación de Tyson Hesse, ya que admiro todos sus proyectos para Sonic.
