Mother's Day. What should be a happy day was never a bright spot for any of the Mikaelson family. She wanted to lay in bed and cry but she had someone else to think about Hope. She wanted the girl to have a good day so she had stolen her from school for a long weekend. She had done it all spa, shopping, new haircut, movie, and of course whatever Hope wanted to do. She liked seeing her niece happy of course but it had drained her.

She comes to the Mikaelson home drained and ready to just shut in for the day. She sees someone at the door and tries to put her smile back on but it's hard so damn hard. "Well hello gorgeous if I had known I was having company-" She starts to say but he pulls her into an embrace. It stunts the charm she was trying to put on. She hesitates for a moment feeling tears well up in her eyes as she holds onto him. "Don't tell me Hope sent for you... that girl is too smart for her own good." She admits with a soft laugh.

         "i harbor absolutely no desire to start a conversation with you. so whatever it is that you think of gaining or requesting by hoping to have this conversation with me, you won't achieve it." elijah knows who this person opposite of him is. and he also knows what this person is. elijah doesn't share many things with his father but if there's one thing that he does share with mikael, it's his aversion against this specific pack. one of them did kill his youngest brother. the loss of henrik was the reason vampirism was forced upon them. this pack was the reason that his village lived in fear on every full moon.

Clever. Oh he liked that answer very much. Perhaps this brother wasn't a complete waste of space after all. Final judgement would be reserved for now, only time would tell if this was yet another family member to be culled from the herd.

The bastard brother wasn't about to have a weepy little bonding session where they cried about what monsters they were. No he wanted to understand Cary to the core without having to reveal any dangerous insights of himself. Control was safety and the unknown was dangerous. Let the games begin.

“So this is your pack?” Ingrid asks curiously looking around at the camp they had set up before she smiles. “This is really neat I like it. Hope said you guys move around a lot.” She tells him with a smile. She likes seeing this she doesn’t get to see packs because she’s stuck at the school. “Do you guys let new people in or is it only people that are born into the pack?”

There were near dead vampires strewn behind him, blood rises to his senses and honestly it settles so much of his anger that's been riled up inside of him since having lost Elijah to the White Oak and the bloody Hollow. These Vampires were part of a group that was currently rummaging about the Quarter untamed and since his brief spot back here he's glad to do this place some service. A smile touches to his face. He's been in Mystic Falls, only visiting briefly to see Freya, and now that he sees Cary he's reminded of what he lost after leaving. He could have stayed, possibly been accepted here by his pack. " you can't tell me that you don't enjoy the idea of these vampires dying. They've been nothing but trouble since their arrival or so I've been told. "

In truth, she was a bit weary of approaching him.  After all, she had done her best to stay out of the middle of anything, preferring to stick to the edges in hopes of keeping herself safe (it was far from a full proof plan and she knew it).

Still, Cami was good at observing.  Which was why she was sure that he was what he was.  “ ---- I’ve seen you around,” she begun, not exactly choosing the best first words.  “I didn’t mean that in a creepy way.  Just to clarify.  I’m Cami...”
