The Tony that thought something was wrong when Ziva failed to contact everyone on the team, back in ToC, only 3 or 4 months after she left and even after everything they'd been through together with Rivkin and all, wouldn't spend almost an entire year without even attempt to contact her in some way. 

I just don't buy it.
