               the  blonde  took  a  deep  breath  while  still  in  the  car ,   wondering  why  did  she  think  it  was  a  good  idea  to  agree  to  his  request .   truth  be  told ,   simply  seeing  his  name  pop  up  in  her  phone  was  enough  to  render  her  breathless ,   she  had  taken  a  moment  before  picking  up .   saying  no  to  him  was  always  so  hard .   she  had  rolled  her  eyes  once  he  asked  her  the  favour ,   only  agreeing  upon  noticing  his  distress ,   knowing  fully  well  how  welcomed  she  was  by  his  family  &  how  complicated  it  would  be  to  break  their  expectations .   it  had  been  months  since  they  broke  up  (   not  in  the  best  of  terms   )   but  he  still  hadn't  found  a  way  of  telling  the  news  to  his  grandparents .   she  told  herself  she  was  doing  that  for  them  &  not  for  him ,   fooling  herself .   checking  herself  in  the  rear-view  mirror ,   Cassia  applied  one  more  layer  of  crimson  lipstick ,   fixing  her  hair  afterwards .   she  could  do  it .   just  that  one  time .   how  hard  could  it  be  to  pretend  just  for  that  one  night ?               exiting  the  car  with  a  purse  on  her  shoulder ,   heels  hitting  the  pavement  as  she  walked  towards  his  house ,   she  knocked  on  the  door  once  she  arrived .   they  should  go  together ,   keep  the  appearance  of  a  couple  even  if  they  no  longer  were  one .   she  looked  down  at  herself  for  a  second ,   quickly  making  sure  her  dress  was  in  place  before  she  heard  the  door  opening ,   immediately  glancing  up  at  him ,   trying  as  hard  as  she  could  not  to  melt  just  at  the  sight  of  him .   it  was  BITTER-SWEET .   part  of  her  missed  him  immensely .   part  of  her  remembered  how  much  it  hurt  to  break  apart .   clearing  her  throat ,   she  crossed  her  arms  above  her  chest   "   are  you  ready ?   don't  wanna  leave  them  waiting .   "   ||   @ashensolitude
