This mysterious picture was taken in 1964 by Jim Templeton of his daughter Elizabeth on Burgh Marsh and has garnered the name "The Solway Firth Spaceman" due to the strange figure seen behind Elizabeth. Templeton maintains that no one else was on the plains that day with his family.
The photo, as of yet, has not been conclusively solved.
