Homemade Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea-Wellness Drink
This Vegan Chai Hot Chocolate combines the comforting flavors of chai tea with rich cocoa for a cozy and indulgent drink. Perfect for warming up on chilly days or as a treat any time!
Ingredients: 4 cups unsweetened almond milk. 4 chai tea bags. 4 tablespoons cocoa powder. 4 tablespoons maple syrup or sweetener of choice. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger. 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves. Pinch of salt.
Instructions: In a saucepan, heat almond milk over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Add chai tea bags, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt. Stir well until cocoa powder is fully dissolved and flavors are combined. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and discard tea bags. Pour hot chocolate into mugs and serve immediately. Optional: Top with vegan whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder.
