No more teasing - here is the 1st of my 8 new patterns - it’s a pleasure to introduce the Craic Mittens #linkinbio Craic (pronounced ‘crack’) is the Irish word for high spirited fun; the serious work of play. These are long mittens and use my favourite cable down the front and, because I’ve used rib, they are designed to fit all hand sizes. These mittens are great for keeping your hands warm during those winter walks whether that’s out in the Yorkshire Dales or on the High Street! They are knitted in the round and use 2 balls of Mohair Tweed. I have designed them to be fun to knit - you do have to concentrate with the cable but this is only on one of the dpns so on the other two you can relax with just the rib. This is my favourite type of ‘complicated’ knitting, a few stitches of concentration and then relax with some knit and purl….mmmmm #sharingthejoy #soothingstitches #warmhandswarmheart (at Purl &Jane)
