I commissioned this incredibly awesome piece of art from @sooz-art! I'm completely floored by how well it turned out! It's from a scene in Chapter 13 of my fic where Ty Lee and Azula are temporarily babysitting Kiyi and Tom-tom. Kiyi happens to be quite like her big sis, to the amusement of the older two!

Sooz can draw pictures for you too! In fact I heavily encourage it!

As someone who has not read The Long Game, but has seen Game of Thrones, these tags are wild. A red wedding situation? A sibling romance? Public beheading of the thought to be hero of the story??? Are the Montreal Metros being likened to the Lannisters here? The Starks? Do the wildlings attack the Walled City???

Obviously I want zero answers, but boy do I have a lot of questions.

Sooz you have no idea what it's taking me to contain my delight at these ideas, as always I love where your head is going, wow truly the possibilities are endless :)

Hey, I haven't yet read LIAB (will get to it eventually, I'm terrible about actually reading anything that piques my interest) but every time I see anyone write LIAB, I struggle so hard to remember what all the letters stand for and always end up settling on 'Life in a Box' even though I can't imagine that makes any sense at all.

Anyway, I find it funny this is what my brain constantly settles on and thought I'd share.

DUDE!!! LIFE IN A BOX IS SO FUNNY!!! because sokka literally spend like 2 entire first chapters of the fic locked in a box. Haha. So… even without reading it, you’re already getting it lol! & technically I could get all deep about how “life in a box” actually makes a lot of sense as a title for liab based on what the characters go through but I won’t do all that lol.

Would Sokka and Suki be more down to dress like pirates, Sailor Scouts, or knights in shining armor?

They’re totally costume enthusiasts, so this is a tough call…but my gut tells me they’d dress up as a pair of swashbuckling pirates! 🏴‍☠️

Sokka goes all-out: a big bicorn or tricorn hat with a huge feather, fake hook-hand, fancy coat, and Momo in his own little handmade parrot-puffin costume, perched on his shoulder. Suki’s getup is slightly less extravagant, but only slightly: red bandana, striped shirt, eye patch, and a pair of cutlasses…which everyone assumes are fake. But they most certainly are not. 😅 Just realized this kinda sounds like Captain Hook and Mr. Smee lol… Anyway, they enjoy swapping piratical puns and scurvy flirting while in costume. 😉

I do want to give the knight idea its due, though — because I think they’d absolutely love marching around in suits of armor and dueling with wooden swords and trying to find the right angle to kiss without bumping helmet visors. 😂 (Also, an underappreciated bit about Sukka which I feel the need to gush about is that Sokka does act as Suki’s knight in shining armor during each of the episodes they meet/reunite — jumping in front of her to shield her from Zuko’s fire on Kyoshi Island, pushing her out of the way of falling rocks at Serpent’s Pass, and of course rescuing her from prison. So Sokka would relish a chance to be that for her literally, and Suki would love seeing her protector decked out in a hunky suit of armor. ☺️)

Hi! This ask is about Jet!

First of all, I am impressed with you putting up with me as a mutual, since it is no secret that I am an obnoxious Jet lover and my tumblr is proof of that. Sincerest apologies for making you see Jet's stupid fucking face (affectionate) more often than you probably want to.

Anyway, even though I am Jet's number one fan, I completely understand why people don't like him. He's a polarizing character, after all. What I am surprised at is that you dislike him while also being a big Azula fan. Most people I know who like one of them tend to like the other, or at least be neutral about them. So I am really interested in seeing your thoughts for why you aren't a fan of his.

(and don't worry about trying to be gentle about it, your opinion is your opinion, and I'm interested in hearing it)

Oh, no, I get it. Plus it's important to have moots who have different blorbos than you (see the "blorbo-in-law" post). It breeds diversity in your fandom experience, rather than allowing it to become stale and repetitive!

I'm not sure exactly why Jet rubs me the wrong way when Azula doesn't when, as you've correctly pointed out, they're very similar. I think it might have something to do with watching the show as it was coming out. Obviously I was introduced to Jet first, and babby!Lobster (I mean I would have been 17 but w/e) didn't understand why they didn't like the dudes so much. (*stage whisper* It’s cause you're a lesbian, Little Me!)

And then Azula came along and uh. I just liked her a lot. FOR NO REASON AT ALL. (*stage whisper* It’s cause you're a lesbian, Little Me!)

I mean, that's all, I got, sorry. Nothing really deep unfortunately 😅

Even though the La Possession AU has a chokehold on me, I that fic you wrote that was inspired by some Zukka art I did (Just Take It Slow, I think? I'm bad with titles) has left a stronger impression on me.

Ahh I really love how Just Take It (Slow) For Me came out and I continue to be just over the moon at the way it captured the vibe of your gorgeous, gorgeous art. Every time your piece crosses my dash I feel like I gasp over it all over again, I'm so touched it's stuck with you too!!

(Also, yes, La Possession AU chokehold...just like La with Jet lmao)
