Started off my morning with a 4:45am alarm. I left, on a jet plane and a few hours later finally figured out how to spell Albuquerque (thanks to many autocorrects). Visited the San Felipe de Niri, the oldest church in Albuquerque (see, I’m using my new found spelling skills), ate chili relleno for lunch which was 95% carbs with a sprinkle of lettuce and a tomato (you know, for health), finished off said carb meal with my new found favorite dessert, honey on sopaipilla, didn’t have enough time to visit every gallery and shop selling Navajo woven blankets and baskets in Old Town (go there in Albuquerque, no need to go anywhere else), ran in the bosque along the Rio Grande River, and finished out the day with a drive to Los Alamos, which is where I’ll be running the Jemez Mountain Trail Run 50k tomorrow! .
