okay maybe going a little 2 far with this take. but like. the obsession with the sexuality of the heated rivalry actors is reminding me of the rant i went on during the summer about how we have all started doing the work of the surveillance state for it under the guise of moral justice. the example i used then was the coldplay ceo cheating scandal, and how, regardless of the rightness or wrongness of their actions, people's desire to hold these strangers morally accountable for their personal choices in their personal lives felt sinister 2 me. and i feel the same with people digging into the personal lives of hudson williams and connor storrie. like. what exactly do you think you're achieving by attempting to publicize who their romantic partners are? i understand the justification is queer representation, and while i think that argument is pretty weak and i just am never convinced that sexuality needs to be disclosed in professional settings, or that knowing their sexuality would in anyway alter the representation provided by the show written, directed and produced by an openly gay man, i also think if that's really what you care about you would just say it and leave it at that. like you would just say "i wish openly gay actors played gay roles" you wouldn't go "i have a right to know about the personal lives of Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie because they play gay characters and therefore I am going to make it my mission to expose as much about them as possible because i am holding them morally accountable for ... stealing the jobs of gay actors???" like ok senator McCarthy goddamn. it's just crazy to me that we are so excited to refuse ourselves the privilege of a private life or personal choices. everything everyone does must be seen by the collective as morally correct and if you attempt to hide anything from our all seeing eyes we will tear you apart. and like I KNOW im being dramatic. but yall r freaking me out 4 real. tl;dr - no one is paying u to be the sexuality police, leave those boys BE.

another little pet peeve if mine if yall will care to indulge.

this is a very popular thing in the shifting community so I fear i might be under fire for this. I hate the trend of making dr intros and referring to your drself in third person. like my main gripe is that talking about my crself in 3rd person is cringe but it just feels so unnatural. like your drself is not an oc its you I wanna hear you talk about your life not some random person. and like I know yadda yadda you dont have to do anything to shift but like seeing your drself as you has to help right?

TMBS Headcanons! Because I have so many and somehow haven't shared them yet.

these mainly focus on the society but I also have some for the adults; if you'd like me to share those too let me know

Starting off strong. Constance definitely had an emo phase in her tween/young teen years

I seriously don't care that the riddle of ages says Constance's body type changed. She's still adorably chubby in my mind even when she's older.

Kate eventually realizes long hair will get in the way of being a secret agent and she has Rhonda give her a pixie cut<3. (I mean be for real her ponytail's probly gotten stuck in The Bucket a few times) She gave her cut-off locks to Madge afterwards

Speaking of Kate's hair I've always pictured her having a 2b/2c hair pattern? Do we like that on her?

Reynie definitely would love playing piano. It suits him so well. Maybe Constance writes songs (which she prefers to be called lyric poetry) that he figures out how to play on the piano for her and the others. Idk

Kate definitely would play a string instrument, maybe fiddle/violin or guitar?

I think Sticky would also play piano, but he prefers listening to music rather than playing it himself

Reynie canonly draws, and from what the show gives us I think he'd specialize in landscape and wildlife sketches. Kate prefers to sketch people and Madge but can draw landscapes well too. Constance, on the other hand, only draws on things she shouldn't. I'll let y'all figure out what

Constance learned calligraphy from her sisters at some point, and her signature is surprisingly neat and fancy. Kate's signature is legible but done as fast as possible, Reynie's is simple, neat, and recognizable (maybe all in lowercase?) and Sticky's is in cursive. Suits him pretty well I think

The older three would all definitly be big LOTR fans. They've probably dressed up as some of the characters and forced Constance to join them. (I think Kate would cosplay as Legolas, and they'd make Constance be one of the hobbits, but I'm not sure about either of the boys). I think Ms. Perumal, Milligan, and Mr. Benedict would also like Tolkien's writing but Idk about Number 2 & Rhonda

Sticky probably had an afro sometime between the prisoner's dilemma and the riddle of ages and Kate and Reynie really liked it. They said later that out of all the styles he'd tried, it was one of their favorites
