The Mysterious Benedict Society is great because it said what if the world was formed by the eyes of children, and what if the only ones who could save it were children. What if the world was collapsing because adults refuse to listen to children. What if you were told that what made you an outcast was the exact thing that would allow you to save the world.

And what if, when all is said and done, your reward was not the knowledge that you saved the world, but the knowledge that you were no longer alone. That you had friends who understood you, and that despite your gifts, you could go back to being a child.
