Hello everyone! And a special hello to @sarcasticscribbles! Boy-howdy is it always a bit terrifying to tag artists you really look up to.

This is my last-minute submission for the #SophArchives contest that is ending today! Quincy and Thalia really captured my heart from the moment I first saw them both, and I wanted to do my best to capture their combined essence. I like to think Quincy really did get to be a part of her love and muse, in the end.

About time I made a bookbinding post! This is a gift I made for my friend @sarcasticscribbles All art and text is created by her!

All of Soph's avatar character designs & statements handbound together in an a5 sized book.

I used the french link stitch to bind the signatures together with red waxed thread. The endbands are a matching colour, just like the separate red ribbon bookmark. It has one silver eye charm at each end. The cover is wrapped in black linen. The block is attached to the cover with black endpapers. And as a finishing touch it has a Leitner bookplate to make it an official cursed book.

The endband is recycled from an old library book!
