Leading to change
The government has failed you. The resistance is here. Those are the words that usually heard playing on defaced websites, hacked or rooted servers. The Anonymous last 2012 has given tremendous change to our cyber world. But, was it because the world was not ready for such activism? Or just a fad that happened? An article arouse controversies regarding the end of Anonymous and its collective this 2013. The article suggested that the world now knows what they are capable of, the world now knows how to defend themselves. But will it be over? The article also posited that anonymous will end due to its stagnating sophistication and the means of war on politics. Now the question befalls us, how would we dare to change our route and be able to rise again? Anonymous gained a collective of over millions around the world, and thousands here in the Philippines. Some are hackers, some are writers, some are activists and some are just plain enthusiasts. Anonymous 2013 should change its means, and be able to achieve sophisticated and tactical pre-emptives and rallies. These rallies should be planned, negotiated and have pre-emptive measures. The January 15, 2013 attack on the cyberspace as well as on Faura street have shown how anonymous can gain support over cyberspace and over the streets. Now, that we have the audience at our laps, and many are thinking, questioning and arguing if Anonymous is good or bad. Should we show them already what we really are, and what we are capable of. The Decentralized Structure Anonymous gained power over the internet through its notorious decentralized power. Therefore, there will be no power-grabbing, no over-powering and no turncoats. Its sophistication is equal to an organized anarchy (yes i know, the words are a paradox), whereby everyone has a here-say on the matter. These kind of power should also be gained on street rallies and operations that could get supporters from the outside world. These operation should have a very big role on educating people on what power really means and what anonymous is all about. But could we do such thing? My Plee
To end this article, i have stated over a handful of different open questions whereby i would like each of us to answer. As anonymous, what could we do? What could we do to turn the tide of 2013 to us. Power, we got it. Audience we got it. Now we need a decisive action whereby assuring the change of this world. For the better and not for the first. Now i ask, should we continue, OP|Reform:Reboot the Government, its people, its society, its media?
