Sophra was the aunt of Cray Mingla. Sophra knew that her sister Margolis, Cray's mother, was Force sensitive and was afraid that Cray would show sensitivity as well, which could prove disastrous for all of them if the Emperor ever discovered them. As such, she was constantly critical of Cray in a misguided attempt to suppress Cray's possible abilities.
