Just finished 2021's binge-watch of The Sopranos, and, let me tell you; when those first chords of THAT song kick in, I still get goosebumps 😯 I must be on the 8th (maybe 9th?) full re-watch now, and there are so many people I wonder about, (as well as that ending, of course!)... Sopranos had so many strong female characters I loved. Sadly some passed, (in real life too), but I often wonder about those who were left behind at the last episode... Rosa and Ginny... Melfi's life - would she have regretted that last meeting with Tony? Janice after Bobby 🥺....... To name but a few. Every single character was someone you loved, or loved to hate 😄 Growing up in a dysfunctional family, these people were my family 🤗 The movie didn't really have as much impact as I would have liked, (I found it bitty, and the characters mere charicatures of themselves) - but for me, it was never about a movie. It was ALL about the TV show. And yup. I'll be the old woman who says: "they just don't make TV like that anymore" 🙄😂 Breaking Bad was close.
