He’s helping, be quiet Raven. Saw the derp quote, so thought of drawing these derps.
It’s almost finals hell time for american uni students (including me) and im just d e d inside- But good luck everyone-- I hope you have better time with studying unlike me and bones here-- (on that note, I’m going to be on hiatus for two weeks while I suffer through salvaging my grades--)
I've been looking at the prices for international mail WITH tracking services to use instead of my snail mail shipping for future merch and WELL the base price is like $30 fhdgsjdhsks
Etsy-> Patreon ?
Etsy is increasing fees from 3.5% to 5% (not to mention the 20cents+ per listing every 4 months and paypal processing fee is 3% + 25) so like small sellers like me suffer tons. (Specially when the only thing I have in my store is $2 stickers almost half my money is gone in the fee)
So I’m considering if I should open a Patreon? Since patreon has the same 5% fees but less because the Paypal fee is tallied together and taken every month instead of in each sale. I was wondering if you guys would not mind if I open a Patreon with tiers having part of my stickers and of course opening a bit more to doing commissions there, sketches, chibis, fullbody, I will even show more of my art progress with livestreams with requests and giving PSD and HD files. (Instead of in Etsy doing commissions and losing money from the fee.)
Would a Patreon be alright? I honestly don’t want to close Etsy to move to Patreon only as in Etsy the movement of customers is very nice, I just want to have an extra hand to help me with the Etsy fees and also move myself more as Hurricane Maria ruin tons of stuff in my house and I honestly need the income to patch my broken house before the next hurricane season comes around. ;;;
Is it alright to open Patreon or are there other good sites?
