They were barely friends, which was just fine, honestly, and so it was his twin that suggested he brought something to break the ice a bit. Flowers were perfect for conveying messages, or so she had mentioned and since it was spring, getting lilacs were absolutely perfect. At least to him, especially since their meaning was of spring and renewal. Now whether Merlin would view the flowers as an innocent gesture was up for debate, but nevertheless these came from Mellie's personal garden. Not the one in which she sold from in The English Garden. "You're welcome and tea sounds wonderful. Sorry 'bout just suddenly showin' up, by the way."

“How can I not love you?” Kahlan melted. To say she was not completely smitten with the manservant was a pure understatement. The prophecy said she would need to choose him or Arthur. It was clear she choose Merlin and he her. She would find another way to save the prince. 

Her heart was full of love for him. Tonight she planned on just soaking up the attention. The two were near the fireplace with a bottle of wine and some assorted cheeses. Nights were saved for them. Pendragon didn’t need to know of their love affair, but she expected him knowing. “My life has never felt right, not before you.”

What do you say to someone who is fifteen hundred years old compared to his twenty one years? Nothing much. Henry was in a mood again and wasn't expecting company when the warlock burst into his room wanting to give him tea and what not. Covered in a weighted blanket, he muttered sorry. "I know Lowell called, but I wanted to be alone."

"Oh, relax! I'm immortal!"

Cue Henry tilting his head and then scratching it curiously. He meet Lowell who claimed to be Arthur Pendragon reincarnate and his family to boot, but now this one was immortal? He did show him a picture of his boyfriend. The prince assumed this was the famous Merlin. His cheeks reddened a bit at the misunderstanding. He did throw his sandwich at him due to be startled. Poor chap. "Sorry about that, Merlin right?"

"Slipped out? That's your excuse? You can't just slip that out and walk away from me like you were delivering my armor. What do you want me to do with this?" Now he's just rambling at this point, pacing back and forth at their camp while they were on the run from escaping Morgana. Was it just the stress of what happened that caused Merlin's reaction? No, that's not smart of him to think and even less smart to say out loud. Stopping in his movements, he walked closer to Merlin, a first question that came to his mind, which this one, he couldn't help but to ask.

"How long? ...how long have you loved me?"

          it was a cold fever that had took her, chills running down her spine as she COUGHED after waking. she could not remember much of what had happened, nor how long she had been UNCONSCIOUS for. but she knew that she could 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐍 near her lower abdomen and upon her right shoulder. despite this she slowly began to rise, eyes adjusting to the candle light as she realized she had 𝐍𝐎 𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐀 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 she was.

          her body felt weak to her, as her body slipped a little causing her to wince. out of sheer stubbornness she tried again forcing herself to sit up. ❝  i apologies for being 𝐀 𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔,  ❞    mulan whispered softly, her features far more pale then normal, as the color seemed to drain from her features. ❝  but i am grateful for your care.  ❞ turning her attention to him, she frowned a little in worry for him.
