✓ - how do they react to praise?
depends on who it’s from – hidan strives only for the praise of lord jashin, his ultimate goal being to please him. while he’s never slow to accept a well-placed compliment, he’s not one for sweet talkers or ass kissers (he loves it when people recognize how great he is - but he gets ticked off far more quickly than you’d imagine)
✕ - how do they handle rejection?
he hates it, bottom line. as a child, he was often disowned by schoolteachers and friends for his violent tantrums and apathetic tendencies, which only further skewed his view of the world and social relationships with others. it continues to be a problem for him, as rejection makes him feel largely invalidated (though he often falls back on jashin’s obvious acceptance of him to make himself feel better) and he often feels that, while he doesn’t need to prove himself to people, he would like people to accept him anyways.
☺ - do they prefer sour or sweet treats?
hidan doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth in general, whether it be for lemon drops or lollipops or whatever else have you; he largely prefers hot candies as opposed to any other kind.
❄ - favorite season and why?
easy answer, spring! not only was he born during this time, making him more apt to favour it, but he finds it to be the most comfortable season as well. unlike summer and winter, spring is not harsh and is rather mild; unlike autumn, spring is full of life rather than decay. hidan is all about renewal, just as spring is. the only downside he would say, is all the rain. he hates being cooped up inside (he catches colds far too easily to go out in that weather anyways)
