Taking a Break
So my back has been out this entire week and I have had 3 trips to the chiropractor. So needless to say I haven't worked out and am not sure when I will be working out again because this is horrible. I feel pretty good today so I'm hoping that it is finally back in place to stay and now I can just recover and get back to normal. I have never had back problems before so I'm scared that this will become regular and I won't be able to work out. I am praying that is not the case because that is just depressing!! So until then no more heavy duty exercising :(
Body Revolution Day 1.5
So today I had to take a rest day to recover from the chiropractor yesterday. I really wanted to work out this morning, but didn't want to make things worse. I am completely sore though!! Oh my goodness! I'm sore in muscles that I have not felt in a long long time. It feels so good though. It's my way of knowing that things are going to change and I will see results with this program. I'm so excited!!! Can't wait to workout tomorrow!
Adjusted and all better!
I've been in pain for a week and finally went to the chiropractor today and got put back into place. This weekend was miserable. Sitting a total of 4 hours in the car about killed me and then I had to sit 3.5 hours on a wooden chair at the library while I took my CAAP exam. I could barely walk when I was done. So the chiropractor snapped, cracked and popped me and I was out in like 5 minutes. Definitely worth it. I just won't be working out tomorrow as he said no twisting for 24 hours so rest day it is.
Body Revolution Day 1
Today was workout 1 of Body Revolution. It was around 30 minutes and not that bad. It reminded me of Chalean Extreme's cardio workouts with heavy cardio and strength recovery. She gives you two options to intensify most of the moves with either weights or jumping and poor Omar gets his butt kicked, but he can handle it!
I was worried I wasn't going to be able to workout today as I've been nursing a strained back for the last week. I woke up after sleeping on my stomach and could barely walk. I've been popping Ibprofen for the last couple of days and it feels pretty good and it didn't hurt at all when I worked out, only when I sit but not that bad.
I weighed in today and am not that impressed. I'm up 2 pounds from my original weight at the beginning of February at 193.6. But it's all bad food choices and not working out consistently. I'll be taking measurements and photos later today so I can update every 30 days. I won't post pics until I'm done...it ain't pretty right now
Looking forward to tomorrow and seeing how it goes!
