1: Sae...doesn’t really have any strong religious beliefs. She grew up Andrastian but also had strong connections to the dalish and their gods and region. So she kind of doesn’t know. She thinks that both parties have parts that are right and parts that are wrong but she definatly doesn’t think that she is the Herald (she wont hesitate to use it against people to make them do what she wants them to tho). She tries not to let stuff like that effect her relationship with Cass but sometimes it does end up getting them into disagreements (I wouldn’t go as far as saying fights tho). When they start getting too far into discussions about religion and etc Sae usually just ends up walking away and ending the conversation.
2: Cass was like another adviser to Sae. She gave her advise and was one of her main companions. They weren’t super close friends but Cass was a valued ally to Sae, even if they didn’t always see eye to eye. Sae would often go to Cass when she was having a hard time making a decision to help her talk it out. She also asked Cass when she needed help on religious matters since Sae is half scared of Leliana half wants to be her. So because of that they spent a lot of time together and they became friends, just not super close ones.
3: To be honest, Sae tried to stay out of the seekers of truth issue as much as possible. If it were completely up to her she would have said to get rid of the entire Templar/Circle structure as fast as possible. But, she also saw that if that structure were to remain then they needed something like the seekers to keep the templars in check. She had fears about them being too entitled but Cassandra didn’t seem like that to her so she mostly just helped Cass make the decision herself instead of pushing her one way of the other.
4. The Chantry issue was very complected for my Inquisitor to say the least. She ended up choosing Leliana as Divine since she felt like she could trust her with the mage issue (since my Warden romanced Leli and was a circle mage). Plus she didn’t want to give up Cass since she used her as more of an adviser than she did Leliana.
5. Hell no. She tried to memorize them once, just to see if she could do it. She had them written on her arm for a week or so to see if that helped. It didn’t and she gave up. But she can convince people she knows them since she knows the general sound of them so she just mumbles really quickly and it convinces everyone but Cass.
