Sullust was a volcanic planet located in the Outer Rim. Home to the Sullustan species, Sullust was rich in minerals and an important industrial planet due to its position in trade routes. Sullust seceded from the Republic during the Clone Wars, and subsequently was taken over by the Empire. Hardline stances by the Imperial-influenced SoroSuub Corporation led resistance cells to develop, who took control of the planet.
