ooh!! for the character asks: 1, 2, and 3 for roman, and 11, 12, and 13 for your favorite npc? :O

hECK YEAH finally getting around to this - I’m stuck on Yarrow as my Fave NPC right now so I’ll answer for him in the second half!

01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded?

hfghfd this is silly but Roman’s name is…. my name basically but just a Little Different. Roman was initially just Me but a character and he’s grown since then but… fhjfkd

02. What is one of your character’s biggest insecurities? Are they able to hide it easily or can others easily exploit this weakness?

He has anxiety!! he’s anxious about losing people or pushing too hard or being too much and it’s pretty easy to see that weakness, if you know him. His other weakness is that he has Wizard Hubris which isn’t usually a problem but might be as he learns stronger spells. 

03. What would be their favorite physical trait about themselves?

HMMM he likes his hair! He also likes his body shape - way more than he thought he would growing up. Feels cute! (It’s easy to feel cute with his husband around)

11. What is something that would make your character fly into a rage?

Good question! Nothing that I can think of would make him fly into a rage, honestly. He’s a very collected person with HUGE amounts of patience that make him losing his temper unlikely in the worst of situations. This, plus the fact that Yarrow is more of a ‘don’t get mad, get even’ type of person, mean that fury isn’t an emotion he knows. 

12. Is there some particular talent, skill, or attribute that they simply could not give up?

God, most of his skills are ones that he thinks are vital. His abilities are his greatest pride and he’s cultivated them until they’ve flourished over the past century. But more than anything, he couldn’t live without his patience, creativity, or love for love. 

13. What are your character’s sleeping habits? Heavy or light sleeper? Blanket stealer? One that always rolls onto the floor?

As an (older-fashioned) elf, he doesn’t sleep! When he enters a trance he’ll usually be propped up in his huge bed with a cup of water or tea on the nightstand, hair spread WAY out all over the pillows behind him, a pen in hand and a pad of paper on his lap, zoned out in the middle of writing spells or business letters or whatnot. Either that or very purposefully ‘sleeping’ like he’s in a movie scene fghjfkd

waaa thank you!!! I’m gonna give him a different secondary eventually but I’m still undecided on it, I think butterfly though maybe :o

1. What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do? not very long tbh! she’s a bit of a busybody who doesn’t feel Right if she’s not trying to do something

4. How easy is it to earn their trust? Iiii wouldn’t say she’s especially trusting or distrustful i think; it depends on who she’s talking to? she’s very implicitly trusting of anyone in the same church as her but like, a normal amount of wary towards anyone who isn’t

14. What animal do they fear most? i don’t think pat is like, super terrified of any animal in particular honestly bjksdfhsdf nature is what it is basically

hi, do you have any resources/advice for cleaning a contaminated fish tank? my betta boy trojan just passed away today, and i’d like to make sure that my next fish won’t be affected by whatever killed my betta 💔

i’m so sorry for your loss <3i think the best bet would be to drain it and clean everything off (decor, substrate if possible, tank itself, filter, etc.). i think people usually use bleach + water (i think its 1 part bleach to 19 parts water?? not sure tho) to disinfect stuffs, then rinse really well~i’d suggest throwing away old media (like filter pads or ceramic media) and disinfecting sponge media (you said you didnt know what took your betta so i’d replace everything that can’t be disinfected)…you can probably wash gravel n stuff but i’m not too sure about sand…

if anyone has any tips or advice please share! especially because i’m not 100% sure on these suggestions and second opinions are always welcome <3
