HEY!

So, I don’t know who this is going to reach, but I hope it reaches anyone or everyone <3

I really want to meet small whump creators on here. I do obsess over a lot of whump creators who are big and somewhat popular, and I always wonder how to find smaller blogs that are lurking around like I do. As a small blog myself.

So if you’re a small whump blog and want to meet new friends, I’d love to read your stories and see what you create. Even if you don’t make anything and just reblog, that’s okay too. I really do think there are hidden gems out there that I’d love to find, but sometimes it’s hard to.

And if you interact with this post, we’ll all find each other and make more friends. At least, that’s what I’d like to think would happen.

And while you’re here, maybe say something in the comments about yourself, your blog, or your stories. What’s your favorite whump trope? What have you put your characters through? What’s the whumpiest media you’ve consumed lately?

As usual, I’ll say that I obsess over everyone’s OC’s and literally want to eat every crumb of lore I can get. I love drawing them too! So please talk about them!

I need some classic begging whump. I’m itching for it. Even a simple “please don’t hurt me.” Maybe added on with “I’ll be good. I’ll behave.” “Fuck, please. I didn’t mean to. I didn’t know what I was doing. I’ll never do it again. Let’s go back to the way things were.” Kind of begging. Whumper can deny them the comfort and relief they seek.

But I also love when Whumper actually gives in and decides to treat whumpee by giving them some reprieve for their begging. As if they’re conditioning them to believe that begging and constantly needing to please Whumper is how they’ll survive, how they won’t get hurt.

Whumpee who’s been conditioned or at least knows very well that if they did something to cross the line with whumpers demands then they’d get punished in a way they could only see in their nightmares. They do it, by accident or on purpose in the spur of the moment. When whumper catches them, they immediately turn into a ball of fear and anxiety. Trying to run, claw, squirm away from whumper. Anyway to escape the worst punishment they can receive. All while turning into a blubbering mess of pleas and apologies. Promises to be better. To be good. “You don’t have to do this! It won’t happen again, I won’t do it again, please please I’m begging you.”

Whumper doesn’t have to feel remorse to give in. They know what they’re doing. They have some sort of a caring side, especially if it’s like in a pet whump setting and they just want Whumpee to be an adoring pet. Or even just for an originally defiant and aggressive whumpee that fought tooth and nail to escape. Too broken down now to even barely handle one whip lash to the back without breaking down into tears. “I’ve learned my mistake. Please, I just want to be good now.”

But alas, sometimes whumpers need to let off some steam. And no amount of begging from Whumpee is going to stop them.

Love the scenario of a Whumpee already being locked up, tortured, treated like a pet/prisoner—whatever their horrible circumstance—and the Whumpers who were keeping them either die or get caught too.

Whumpee thinks they’re saved. Finally! Until their ‘rescuers’ find them. And lo and behold, another set of restraints. Sorry Whumpee. These Whumpers aren’t your merciful guardian angels.

Not that they can’t be. Perhaps they seem more merciful than their original Whumpers who kept them alive just enough to breathe. Maybe now they have a roof over their head, ample food, warmth, something even akin to affection. They’re never allowed to leave though. And everything could be taken away in the blink of an eye if they don’t behave.

But, if the new Whumper’s are just as bad, if not worse. Oh, how much Whumpee would fight, cry, beg, scream at the top of their lungs. How unfair was life to them. What did they do to deserve this? Why weren’t they good enough to have an ounce of relief? They might’ve even wished for their previous Whumpers. Suddenly realizing that they weren’t so bad.

They wouldn’t even bother thinking of Caretaker. Their mind so far gone in the pain and neglect, and the near-death living that they didn’t have enough energy to think about anything but taking their next breath. Appeasing to anyone who was near them. Just a broken, sorry, helpless shell of the person they could hardly remember being.

Why would Caretaker even want them back now?

Appreciation post for all of the Whump GIF blogs who bless us with increíble, quality whump for our viewing pleasure. Truly, the amount of shows/ movies I’ve been put on—no matter what genre or country they’re from—just for their whump scenes is astounding.

I have tried making GIF’s before of whump and it’s definitely not my forte 🙈. You’re all so cool and talented, not to mention being angels for giving so much information about the media you’re posting, so we don’t have to scavenge for it ourselves fruitlessly.

My god, how terrible would it be for a poor Whumpee to wake up trapped in a rather small enclosure.

Terrible it would be if there was a mysterious timer for 24 hours that they could watch the seconds tick by torturously.

If Whumper informed them that they must figure out why they were captured in the first place in order to save themselves from whatever fate was to be bestowed upon on them once the timer was done.

Naturally it must’ve been death. Right? Whumpee was sure it was. It made them terrified naturally. Every hour that passed by. Every time they tried to come up with a reason that seemed plausible. It was never the right one.

There might’ve been a truth they were keeping to themselves even with the threat of death lingering over them. Or maybe they too had forgotten any atrocities they might’ve committed or participated in. One Whumper obviously knew about.

Whumper was patient. Composed. Even occasionally teasing. They’d drop hints every hour toward what confession they wanted. Even reminding how much time was left despite the clock being visible. It only added to the suspense.

Whether Whumpee eventually gives in and sputters out the information with a bundle of tears from anxiety and fear, or they remain defiant and stoic, never revealing what they know would be the answer. It doesn’t matter in the end. Whumper lets the timer run out anyway. And what happens to Whumpee? Well…

I guess that depends on what you want to happen to them <3

Well… It’s my B-Day

You know, I’ve heard a lot of people say that between 22 to 24 years old are the awkward years of adulting. But maybe if I just don’t think about it, it’ll be fine 😅 lol

Anyways, I’m happy honestly. Getting to hang out with my friends is always nice. I’m personally not a fan of parties, so even just hanging out at home and watching a movie is my kind of birthday. But this year has been kind of interesting so far. Learning how to be an adult and choose my own time instead of others. Still working on it, but it’s kind of freeing and I hope after college is over, I can be proud of wherever I end up being.

But I just wanted to thank tumblr for being so supportive and sweet. I’ve met so many friends on here and it’s truly been wonderful to have something to connect to people with. I hope other people find this community just as welcoming as I have 💙

Origin of Username: I started to love purple hyacinth’s when I was like 12 and I searched up the meaning for it one day. I loved it from then, just because I’ve always been a person seeking forgiveness and apologizing for things that aren’t even my fault. Of course it’s commonly associated with sorrow, so I put them together. It happens to fit with the whump and angst too.

I will always order this food: Pizza. Basic, I know. But who doesn’t love a good pizza on shitty days?

Last thing you hyper fixated on: My OC’s I guess? But I always hyperfixate on them, so idk if that counts 😭 My besties OC’s? lol.

Oddly specific thing that brings you joy: As far as normal everyday stuff, I love when my friends randomly give me little touches (i.e., playfully hitting me, rubbing my back, touching my fingers) and play with my hair. As far as whump related stuff, when Whumper tortures/terrifies Whumpee and in the aftermath they give them a kiss or two on the head 🫠 and if Whumpee leans into it OMG

Phone Wallpaper: It’s a bunch of photos of my two cats that scrolls through them when touched or everytime I turn my phone back on <3

What smell make you happy: A bakery smell? Bread, pastries, pan dulce. Baked goods generally.

Morning or Night Person: This is actually hard for me to answer. My body wakes me up naturally at the butt crack of dawn against my will. So, I’m called a morning person. But I feel like I function better at night, unfortunately I’m a grandmother who passes out at 8-9pm. So I can’t take advantage of the motivation I get in the evening 😔 what does that make me?
