The internet speed at this hotel is abysmal. I literally have no idea what has been going on for two days. And I have never been to a place where Verizon service has failed me. There was one point where I was outside and I got one bar of LTE service, but I was stuffing my face so I couldn’t even enjoy it.

Training, though, is mostly a bore. They encourage interacting and group work which is totally against every thing I am. I also feel like I’m the only person in our class that is starting at the BEGINNING. Everyone else has a background in something human services. I feel lost a lot of the time because they talk with all the social work jargon and I don’t know what those words mean. There are also a few people in class that have to comment on every thing the teachers say. I guess I’m just not a classroom person. Maybe I’ll feel more secure once I get to the speciality week of classes. That will be more position specific. 

But overall, everything is going okay. And Cops & Robbers is playing on TNT.

Update: Coffee Daddy Reg

If you don’t know, I’m a barista. So last time the hot daddy Regular came by, he had a girl in his passenger who I assumed was his girlfriend. Still super friendly but I was like “dang, daddy has a girl” lmaoo. He came around today and i asked “so where’s the lady!” And he’s like “oh that was my cousin! She goes to college out here!” And we ended up talking about my college classes and had a really cool and passionate conversation about our Asian American identities and how his father is a really well known politician and he helped implement the Asian reconciliation statues we have at the water front. Which is reallllly fucking cool. Needless to say, my coffee daddy is still bomb and I’m crushing forever.
