I appreciate that title! You are very polite. 

Well,I loved giving my friends gifts. I am a giving guy after all. Most of them weren’t especially personallysignificant, but I gave them nice things that I knew they enjoyed. The fish I gave Hephaistion is mentioned in Plutarch (28.5) because of its connection to a littlequip by Anaxarchos.

But the fish had a slightly funny story behind it for Hephaistion and myself. Hephaistion liked fish, he had ever since we were children, and he would eat allof the seafood at banquets and parties. WhenI went down the Persian coast, Hephaistion had a lot of naval commands andspent quite some time at sea. After Hephaistion finished his mission commandingthe fleet transporting our siege equipment from Tyre to Gaza, he told me thathe never wanted to see another fish again in his life. Or at least for a time. And then after a bit, Isent him some very nice fish to make up for it. Plutarch is quite vague, but I think he is referencing the same incident. And Hephaistion was very grateful.

When I was a sophomore in high school, my best friend and I shared a locker and we thought that it would be cool and great idea to have a locker pet so we bought three goldfish and all the accessories to have a fly as fuq fish habitat and we bought food and named our fish cute names like "Glitter" or whatever the fuq 15 year old girls name goldfish and those little bitches only lived half of first period. They all died. Long story short I accidentally murdered three innocent fish and i should probably be a registered fish murder.
