"...you try to get into my relationship with Stark and I will utterly destroy you, Ms. Potts." Loki stopped whispering in her ear, his green eyes glancing at her from the corner as the woman shivered in disgust. "You have no idea what I'm capable of," he warned.
"Thank you, Loki," Pepper said, a smile twisting her features, "I've got it all on record, and won't Tony just love to hear it?"
Loki's eyes widened, and Pepper walked away, a triumphant smile on her face, walking through the lounge and towards the workshop. Loki smirked behind her, his smugness twisting his face into darkness.
"Tony?" Pepper said, sauntering over and handing him the recorder, "you're gonna love hearing this."
"What?" Tony said, blinking as he turned off the soldering iron and putting up the security mask, blinking owlishly at her.
"I think you might want to hear this," Pepper repeated, a touch of concern in her voice.
"J.A.R.V.I.S.? Play this again."
The AI obeyed, the workshop filling with Loki's voice.
"Have you changed your perfume? You smell lovely," came Loki's voice and Pepper blanched. If there was one thing she trusted it was Tony's tech, no one had been able to hack it, or change it, much less a backwards technology person from another galaxy like Loki.
"Thank you, Mr. Laufeyson, but I did not, you're being very kind." Pepper heard herself say.
"That's what you wanted me to hear? I'm glad you're getting along now Pep, but there's no need to show me." Tony laughed, turning on the soldering iron again.
Pepper stared at him, "that's not what he said."
"He threatened me, he..."
"Don't be silly, Pepper, he clearly likes you." Tony rolled his eyes. He turned to look beside him as Loki came down the stairs, glancing at him and then at Pepper.
"What is it?" Loki asked, feigning ignorance.
"You, how dare you?" Pepper hissed.
"I complimented you on your perfume, you seemed to like it at the time." Loki said, frowning in confusion. "Did I do something wrong?" He asked, turning to Tony.
"Not that I know of, are you okay Pepper?" Tony asked, turning the soldering iron off again as he glanced at his PA.
