Word from the grapevine is that you have a notebook dedicated to how Death talks. Could ya help a fangirl out and share? I feel like I just can't get him right!

You did hear correctly, from whoever you heard it from, but as to me sharing my notes... Um... no. I promise I'm not trying to be mean, so here are my reasons:

I am currently not certain of my notebook's whereabouts. I'm in the middle of a huge autumn cleaning and it could be anywhere.

I feel like the notes are not actually all that good. If I posted them I know I would be terribly embarrassed about the handwriting and how insignificant some of it is.

Even having these notes, I write Death pretty poorly, which adds to the above lack of quality. I don't believe I have any of my writing of him as public access (for good reason) but take my word for it, I don't do him justice.

I also have a lot of notes in there about the Crowfather, which I feel are a lot more accurate? I don't seem to struggle with writing him.

My advice would be to go over both his dialogue in DS2 and also to do a dialogue study of Abomination Vault. Ari Marmell does a wonderful job writing Death.
