Ace looks incredibly embarrassed, not sure why he was compelled to answer. “Uh…well…” With an awkward clearing of his throat, he shrugs. “One time w’got really drunk… ‘round camp… Don’t remember why we were s’close, but Titus an’ I ended up eye t’eye and fer a second I thought I was gonna kiss ‘im. We both kinda flailed away.” Slapping a palm to his face, Ace groans. “I swear I don’t think’a him that way.”
