You touched on something I wanted to message about earlier, but a lot of the anons focused on touching his belly, along with the pictures of such, felt like it was leaning towards fetish territory. This is coming from a bigger girl who had a guy obsessed with my stomach, and asked much of the same things. Wanting to rub my belly, pet it, saying how beautiful it was, etc. Please don't fetishize something that affects real people, guys. I respect you for being brave enough to walk that fine line.
Thank you so much for your message; I’m starting to experience firsthand what it’s like (I was never fat growing up and I dunno if I would call myself overweight, but now that I’ve gotten through college, I’ve put on several pounds, and looking at my genetics I suspect more will be on the way), and while I absolutely adore fluffy stuff, I really want to ensure that I never come across as fetishizing fat people. I actually started answering asks as a continuation of this post; if I have to draw hardman 30 times to help someone see his body type as more than fetish material, then that’s what I’ll do.
Hardman is essentially a cartoon character, so there is some stuff that I think is reasonable and innocent enough to dabble in, but I hope that I never come across as trying to endorse treating fat people as a fetish. If I ever do, please, tell me; my whole goal with this is to help people love their bodies, and appreciate other peoples’ bodies with no strings attached.
I think that petting/rubbing someone’s belly and saying it’s beautiful can be a very sweet thing...if you love the person attached to it just as much, if not more.If a person’s happiness and comfort is less important to you than your fetish, you might not be ready for a relationship.
