*(18+ commissions should be discussed on my sideblog or FA)
I mostly reblog, but I sometimes post art. I like gardening, cooking, and cool robots.
I tend not to donate to individual campaigns; I’m far more likely to donate to organizations that can help make my dollars go further. Repeated requests to donate are usually blocked. Thank you for understanding!
[Image ID: A digital, full-body portrait of the Blogger’s Fursona done by flame-boyant. The fursona is a portly, three-tailed fox with gold eyes. The fox is white with brown markings on her stomach, tail tips, and top of her head. The fox has vix head turned towards the viewer with an open-mouthed smile. The background is composed of teal and pink roses. End ID]

BYF:
Curate your experience. If you need to unfollow me, do it. If you need to mute or block me, do it. There’s no shame in making your place of entertainment a little safer.
I block general DNI criteria (racist, sexist, abelist, lgbtphobic, thinspo/fatphobes, fetish mining, etc), and the occasional person who crosses my boundaries. I also exercise the right to curate my experience, so if someone rubs me the wrong way, I block them.
I don’t tag very specific triggers. Stuff like specific colors, numbers, or words are bound to show up on my posts. It’s probably not a good idea to follow me if you need something incredibly specific or commonplace tagged.
I’m an adult, and sometimes I reblog adult jokes. I always tag with #minors dni, but if you’re uncomfortable with the occasional dick or kink joke, don’t expose yourself to it.
Mutuals are ALWAYS welcome to ask for my discord or chat with me in DMs. If I like you enough to follow you back, then you’re welcome to hang out with me!
I am pleased by people messaging me telling me that after adding a carb or protein to their snacks or meals they feel more satisfied all day. Yes, my plan is working. People are getting through their days with less hangry.
Your dialogue is stiff because everyone is being too honest
Great dialogue can come from radical emotional honesty. But in most real conversations, people
dodge questions
answer indirectly
lie (badly)
change the subject
crack jokes to avoid serious answers
lie (convincingly)
say half of what they mean
tell the truth but get so anxious/angry/defensive others now think they're lying
If your dialogue feels unnatural, it might be because everyone is saying exactly what they think, or articulating their thoughts too well. Try letting characters hide things instead.
"I can't believe humans would hunt the thylacine to extinction, humans are fundamentally evil" Hey, did you know that extinction was long thought to be impossible, and within 50 years of humans realizing that extinction via overhunting was a possibility it practically stopped happening? Did you know that humans are so desperate to prevent more losses that they're funneling millions of collective hours and billions of euros into helping other species? Hours and euros that could be spent on humans, and species on whom humanity's own survival does not depend? Did you know that due to an accidental introduction of rats, the Lord Howe Island stick insect population was brought down to 24 individuals and now there are tens of thousands of them?
This bug. This bug that, to most humans, is utterly useless, relatively gross, and completely foreign. Humans saved it because humans do not want to cause another extinction ever again if they can avoid it.
Sometimes I think about how invader zim accidentally led to the creation of avatar the last air bender and I’m just just..woah!!! Things can impact other things just like that. Crazy.
I can't find the post but there's this one post that's like "aging is less than 1% as terrifying as whatever the fuck is going on with people desperately trying not to age"
That but with weight.
Getting or being fat is less than 1% as terrifying as whatever the fuck is going on with people desperately trying to not be fat.
