Welp here we go
Family, Duty, Honour. // Andromeda & Bellatrix Black. // September 1st 1993
The hall was a buzz of life, nervous giggles and chatter echoed throughout the great Hall. Bellatrix Black sat lightly on her bench, as if to spring upwards at any moment. The Sorting hat had sung his incredibly tiresome song, and now Hogwarts entirety were waiting for the first-years.
The hall was beautiful as always. The night sky shined, showing Orion in his full glory. She could help but feel nervous, her little sister was having her moment in the sun. However Bella did feel a little guilty. She knew how vital it was for Andy to develop friends, and fast. If she didn’t, she’d drown. There was no doubt that Andy would find someone worthy, that kid was going good places. But Bella gave her a little nudge in the right direction, and reminded her of her independence when Andy asked to bunk with Bella for the way up. ‘Be proud of yourself Andy’ She had said. ‘What’s not to love about you? Go sink your claws in someone worthy.’
Now Bella sat, sipping water frequently. Her right leg bounced, and she gently curled her fingers around her mother’s necklace. Looking to Tom for reassurance, he smiled at her. It managed to calm and excite her for another reason altogether. How long did they have to be? It was time, right? More importantly, Andy needed to join Slytherin. It was the place she would belong. Blacks were made for slytherin.
She had sat right at the top of the table, lacing her hand in Tom’s to drag him there. She wanted Andy to see her when she was sorted. Being alone to be sorted was fine with Bella, she made an impression that way. But she had no idea of what Andy was feeling, family comfort was something Bella would love to give. Supporting one another was a value deep within her bones.
Suddenly the doors heavily swung open, silencing the room. Bella held her breath. It was time!!!
The Fortune of Fancy Pants #4
The banquet started soon enough. It was a smooth cool evening, the storm that had been raging earlier settled into an eerie calm. The air was still, bereft of the typical humming of animals and insects. The fresh smell of salt intertwined with the fragrant and assorted feast John found in the courtyard.
He ate voraciously in the golden light of the burning torches. The other first year students around him were more tepid. John felt they knew something he didn’t, but wanted to enjoy the food while he could. He gorged in his blissful ignorance. Eventually a tall man in a giant blue cloak stood up from his table.
The assembled body of students and mages turned their attention to him with a fearful immediacy.
“Welcome!” He boomed with a deep resounding tone, “I am Archmage Drifus, the warden of the tower.
Some of you have come from long magical legacies. For years now, you’ve felt the raging desire to unlock your potential. Your gifts shunned by the normal world.
Others of you have little idea of our world. Your talents were buried in the normalcy of the every day. The average quality of those around you has deceived you into believing a bland existence in which you can achieve nothing. I’d like to extend my welcome to you all!
Welcome to Rokezit! Whether you are from the first group, the second, or another entirely, you will soon all be young magi!
John and the others watched with trance like attention. John put his food down, which isn’t really the type of thing he would do for some guy talking.
“Right now, you are all uninitiated, separate from magic. But after tonight you will be marked, and chosen to continue a legacy of sorcery that you were destined to represent.
The sorting will start shortly, but before we go further, I’d like to make a few things clear, no one will receive any special judgment. This includes our honored young guest Sir Gedry!
Although some people have criticized the tribes system as demeaning and judgmental, let it be known that all four schools of magic founded this sanctuary together, and they all share in the proud heritage of Rokezit.
Yes, the leaders of the Necron tribe have routinely performed horrendous crimes against magekind and nature, but not every Necron turns out like this. Yes, the Plant tribe grows most of the food, and many of them are botanists, but that does not mean all Plant tribe members are insignificant!”
He looked around, and swung his hand in a circle, reaching for something.
“And sure, the Indoor tribe has been accused of reading too much, and not really helping out unless it has to do with how to spell out a certain incantation. But many of them are also great talkers!
The Hero tribe has done most of the work, they’re pretty brave and the best at most things, however Hero members, don’t get arrogant. If you don’t work hard you can end up as a nebulous after thought or dead!
So everyone’s equal really is what I’m getting at. All decisions are final though, there is no going back. So welcome, finish up, we’ll start about ten minutes after desert, and remember there are no mistakes with the basket, so please don’t ask us about it.”
The Archmage returned to his meal. John was excited, and anxious. He liked the idea of being given a club to belong to, but he didn’t know if his pants could cover up for his complete lack of innate magical ability for much longer.
Soon they all filed into a line, and the procession began the long grinding march through the basket. To John’s amusement the basket itself was judging them. It shouted out the results in long parrot like cries.
“Plant! Plant! Indoor! Plant! Necron! Indoor! Indoor! Necron! Hero! Plant! Plant!”
It went on and on in a seemingly never ending pattern of squawks. The line slowly moved forward, John squirmed between excitement, and anxiety. Eventually it was his time.
“Gedry Dunner?” The basket asked.
“Hey.” John replied simply.
“Ahh, so it is you Gedry? I’ve sorted your parents. You seem…different from them.”
“That’s strange.”
“Can you just go?” A student behind him mumbled
“Right, right sorry,” John snapped to attention.
He stepped into the basket, he heard the basket ruminating. The longer he waited on the baskets decision, the more nervous he got.
“Uh, Hero?” John asked.
“Hero!” The basket squawked.
“Wait!” A voice cried out suddenly.
The crowded turned to see a pair of young students. They had just run into the courtyard, and were struggling to talk while panting for air.
“That’s not Gedry!” One of them shouted, “Because the REAL Gedry is here”
Gedry, looking dirty and tired stumbled into the ceremony.
“He is an imposter!” Gedry shouted at him.
The crowd broke into a chaotic chatter. The line dissolved into a mob. Gedry ran up to him triumphantly. John looked back at him with a nervous smile.
“Hey!” John called, waving.
“Don’t hey me! You…you bad guy!” Gedry shouted back angrily.
“I was just keeping your place warm. I didn’t want you to get in trouble, after…well you know the whole train mix up.”
Gedry whipped out his cane-like staff angrily, shaking it at him accusingly.
“A likely story wraith, but my REAL friends clued me in to your little scheme.”
The two by his side nodded smugly.
“Without them, I would have fallen prey to the Devil Lord’s agents, a fate you were only too happy to leave me to!”
Shaken, John put his hands up defensively, “Hey, hey now, it was an accident, I didn’t mean it, I’m new at all this business.”
“Shut up!”Gedry cast a bolt of light at him.
It rattled into John’s ribs, sending him flying out of the basket. He breathed shallow labored breaths, his entire body was numb and frozen.
“Enough!” The Archmage jumped to his feet, “I will have none of this barbarity in my court!”
He smashed his staff into the ground, sending a rumbling shockwave through the entire island.
I'm reorganizing my Reference folder in my pictures, and it's such a mess. ; A; It hasn't been sorted since last year, so all the pictures from Tumblr are just mixed around and I can't find anything. D8 Therefore, more folders created, and messes made. And it doesn't really help that Tumblr is open and all the new pretty things get mixed into the mess.
AND EVERY TIME I GO THROUGH ALL THE PICTURES AGAIN THERE ARE MORE KITTENS. I THOUGHT I GOT THEM ALL THE FIRST THREE TIMES THROUGH. WHAT IS THIS.
Kittens.

Sorting Time
I am seriously incredibly nervous
This is ridiculous
But also determines whether or not I need to get rid of my Slytherin Scarf and buy a Ravenclaw one for one of the other houses Ravenclaw
So I got Slytherclaw? Oh. Okay.
Your result for The Sorting Hat Test ...
Slytherclaw
You scored 53% Order/Chaos, and 44% Moral/Rational
Rationality with an orderly/chaotic split. What you strongly know is that you try to be rational, objective, and like to consider things as shades of gray. On order, you see the value of rules and organization but equally can become impatient and advocate a rather loose system. Your strengths arise from your ability to consider both radicals and straightlaced authority objectively; however, it can turn on you when others feel betrayed by the fact that there are few you support unconditionally and consistently.
