NEW RELEASE: SG Lewis - Warm

Finally, SG Lewis has done it. I have been waiting for over 2 months to share this track with you, this is one of my favorite tracks so far this year without a doubt. I was fortunate enough to get a preview of the track by SG Lewis and have been listening to it on a daily basis since December, i love it that much. Its a mellow track ,with a female vocal that has been pitched down to give it some more depth, and it turned out amazing!

It was first on Instagram that i noticed the awesome preview he posted of the track he was excited to share, it immediately caught my attention and i had to ask him for a longer one. And he came through giving me a private SoundCloud link, which i am very grateful for.

Listening back some tracks at Sarm today. Excited to share this one.

It’s Monday and i usually start it off with a great chilled track. Today i came across this version of “Ain’t No Sunshine“.

Enjoyed it quite a bit, not saying the original is not a good song in it self, but i love it when different people put their flair/spark on tracks and Poldoore has done here.

Poldoore is a producer from Belgium who is somewhat of a musical mastermind, mixing some great funk, jazz and some hip-hop that gives tracks an uplifting new feel. This song is perfect for the type of day we are having here in Oslo today. Its cloudy, snowy, foggy and ain’t no sunshine out here.

Ella Henderson - Ghost (Oliver Nelson Remix)

Oliver Nelson is an up and coming Swedish producer, with a number of incredible releases in the Nu-disco/Electro House genre. Since he started producing electronic house music at the age of seventeen, he has developed a signature funky-disco sound that’s hard not to love. By listening to some of his remixes, including Justin Timberlake’s “Suit and Tie” and Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know», I think it’s quite obvious that we’re going to hear a lot more about this guy in the future.

Arif - Lowkey

The Oslo based rapper Arif is out with a new track called Lowkey. The track has a kickback feel to it and is filled with good vibes. For the listners that know the Norwegian language and who listened to Juvenile back in the day, you will hear some similarities in Arif’s flow. Arif pays homage to the former Hot Boys rapper and the track “back dat azz up”

As Arif says:

- I was and remain a big fan of southern rap. Especially this song meant a lot to me. I and Aksel Carlson (music producer Axxe, editor.) Had plans to do this earlier, but it was forgotten. When he sat and fiddled with the beat everything almost fell into place by itself. So I felt it was appropriate, and not least important for us to make a tribute to such a timeless song from the south’s golden age!

We had a little piece of LOVELESS earlier in April, they make make tracks that are filled with romantic club rhythms.

The song “How To Love You” is the first original song guys made ​​together, and they are pleased with the outcome and that this track is their first debut single.
