You can tell it’s unlikely s/he will pull through. Meanwhile, his/her lover has a neck wound that will prove fatal if pressure isn’t applied soon. Whom do you choose to work on?

a) Work on your spouse; even though s/he cheated and probably won’t pull through, your loyalty lies with them.
b) Work on his/her lover; they can definitely be saved, and even though you may hate them, saving them is your job.

I’ve been taking my kids to work a lot this week, and I’m only now seeing why having them around a bunch of American guys all day isn’t a good idea. Tom’s new favorite phrase is “shut the hell up,” and Shep spat on the sidewalk today. Somehow I know this is going to bite me on the ass when they go back to their moms. Someone come watch my kids during the day. I’ll give you a no money and you’ll deal with two rowdy toddler all day. Who wouldn’t want that job?
