Thanks for the answer! Im also curious to know how taurs dress up their lower halves. Their fashion is alot different compared to their elemental counterparts
Oh boy this is actually a big topic xD
So like with our world, how people dress and what is considered appropriate or not changes. So we are concentrating on Tealloch/the Wall and the immediate surrounding land for this. Generally speaking, in the Wall there are four main clotting styles: Tack belts, harnesses, saddle blankets and pants/dresses/vests... etc.
First are "tack belts", or just tack or belts. Tack like horse riding gear and if you've been here a while you've probably seen on MANY our taurs already is this style especially for character sheets-
It is not considered improper to just wear one of these even with more dressy styles like the last image with Draco as long as the essentials are covered. This is by far the most common style as these are often worn under or paired with all of the other styles barrig personal preference. Since this is the most common here a couple
Second is the harness style, which can be super fancy or simple. This is typically considered either more dressy or more utility depending on what someone is wearing- saddle or side bags are usually paired with these, or can double as a belt.
And the deer on the right is actually showing the next most common style, saddle blankets.
This one is featured on the Wall's military uniforms, but it would be a rough equivalent to wearing jeans or if the person is planning to wear any sort of gear/riding equipment. Pockets are nice and common for these too xD.
Last and least common are clothes that fully or mostly cover the fur.
Dresses and vests are decently common for dressy occasions, some mustalid taurs favor a vest style and no belt depending but also taurs might wear more covering depending on their job. The guy in the second image would definitely be out of place in the wall of he were just walking around, but this one is a work uniform...
Somewhere I drew a pants horse who worked on a farm, but that might be lost to the ether now xD
But yeah! Taurs can be pretty varied in what they wear on their bottom half just like we are in reality~
