I could honestly imagine a netflix show with seven seasons of old guard shenanigans in various centuries. The costumes! The famous person cameos! The found family goodness! *chefs kiss*

Yes!! The first time I watched the movie I kept thinking it should be the pilot to a series, it has so much potential!! It could be a bit like doctor who, switching from past to future, I can see the Shakespeare episode in front of my eyes jadhjwhd. Netflix take notes

Just speculation of course, but imho the writers are clearly setting up Dean as being in the right, whereas Mary and Sam are misguided like Cas was in Season 6. I expect Dean's mistrust of the britmol to be vindicated, maybe if they find out ketch killed Magda or something similar. So I do see it as positive character development for Dean in the sense that he's dealing with his family in a mature way, while both he AND the audience can see he's right. We'll see...

would sell my own and someone else’s first born for that to be true, but i can’t see that happening, given the show’s history of treating dean, insultingly dense and predictable storylines recently, and the writers being all sam or casgirls in disguise. i do not dare to have hope.

these people just don’t know how to make dean right and let him “keep it” or have any of his accomplishments or even traumas acknowledged
