Tremble

A patient trembling Like coming out of air To the surface of the sea Not drowning nor slipping But calming and seeking

A patient trembling Slowly Slowly rising to breathe Seeing the boundary between Air and water

Every time

Pulling you closer, closer Until I cannot seem to pull you in any more, I pull you closer still

I see a field of flowers A path uphill, openly meets the sky, and I do not know what's on the other side

There! There And back again

Like a feeling you miss, back again But a feeling you have not felt before Sinking teeth on golden skin, sinking to my bone

Here I am, a pleasant danger A welcome tickle And now here we are
